Cranberry Lake (Sold)

This is a pretty little lake in the Anacortes Community Forest Lands.  Decades ago people had the foresight to set aside acres and acres of forest, with over 60 miles of trails, lakes, beaver ponds, and natural wonders.  There are several trailheads just blocks away from my house, so my collie and I often roam the trails, “forest bathing” as the Japanese call it, and always on the lookout for potential subjects for paintings.  I already have more than I could possibly paint in one lifetime, yet it’s such a joy to keep looking for fresh ideas.
